I recently read Weekly Wishes over on The Nectar Collective and I fell in love with the idea. In my pursuit of getting things done and connecting with more awesome bloggers around the web, I decided to join in. I’m not usually one to publicly share my goals but I hope this will keep me more accountable. So here goes…
#1 Write my first guide – I created an outline for a getting started guide this weekend and I’m eager to add to it and get it out there! This will be my first so the process is a little overwhelming, but the first one always is, right?
#2 Create (and stick to) a regular blogging schedule – I’m the type of person that needs things written down to get them done, so I am setting this intention here in hopes that it will make me stick to a blogging schedule. I’m pretty keen to share valuable content with the world, and it’s not helping anyone just floating around in my head!
#3 Create a Press Plan for my e-commerce company – My new venture is almost ready to go, we are just awaiting our first shipment! I need to get to work on creating some buzz for our launch. (I’ll share more info when the site is ready because it looks like a garbage pile right now.)
#4 Meditate daily – Up until recently (as in like, 8 days ago) I thought meditation was pretty bogus and definitely not for me. I’m high strung, and I like it that way, OK?! It wasn’t until I started following Jess Lively that I opened up to the idea and realized I was being a total close-minded butthead. I got the Headspace App and am trying it out. I am loving it so far and want to keep it up to really start reaping the benefits of a solid meditation practice.
And on that note, I had better get to work! I think it will be a very busy week, and I hope the meditation keeps me from spinning out.
Have a great week and cheers to getting shit done!

So happy to have found your blog through Melyssa’s link up! Recently, I left a full-time position to work for myself as a freelance writer. Definitely one of the scariest things I’ve ever done… but it has also been so rewarding! Kick some butt on your goals this week!

Guess I am going to be here more often! I so want to be a full-time freelancer, but not now. Maybe next year. Good luck on your goals!

Awesome Aiza! You can totally do it with the right tools, and judging from your site you are already on your way. Keep it up!
Thanks for the encouragement

Meditating is one of my goals this week too. I LOVE JL! I’ve been reading her content for a few years now and she is super motivating and insightful. I also use the Calm App to help with guided meditations.

I love your goal for meditating daily. I’ve meditated before in yoga and found it to be so relaxing. I think I’m going to add that to my goals list as well! I’ll also check out that Headspace app too! haha here’s to meeting our goals this week! 🙂
