It’s snowing! I’m not sure yet if I’m excited or sad about winter coming, but I guess it’s time to accept and embrace it. Colder weather to me means more lattes, more baking to warm up my apartment, more scarves in the house (seriously my apartment is so cold), and oddly more time at the gym. Most people seem to work out harder in the summer months, but I’m a winter gym rat. Maybe it’s the draw of the eucalyptus steam room.
Anyway, on to some goal setting…
LAST WEEK’S GOALS
#1 Implement process changes – I went through a couple of modules in this amazing program and have so far implemented a couple of changes. And it’s working! This week a new client told me they chose to work with me because I was so organized. Win! I definitely recommend checking out the program if you want to clean up your processes and appear even more professional.
#2 Start a new blog feature – wow I totally failed at this! Moving it to this week!
#3 Stick to a morning routine – this is something I’m still working on, and will continue to work on probably forever. It feels so good to start the day off with intention!
THIS WEEK’S GOALS
#1 Get things moving on the new blog feature – I have a few things to prep and send out to get ready for this.
#2 Move my project management and invoicing over – I am currently on a trial with Motiv which manages sending proposals, contracts, quotes, and invoices. I may try out another one this week to find the best fit. Have you tried a system like Motiv or 17Hats? Thoughts?
#3 Work on holiday campaign materials – Black Friday and Cyber Monday are fast approaching, so I have to finish up a few things for holiday promos at my microphone company Right Hook Mics.
