I wonder if I’ll ever start one of these posts with ‘last week was a total breeze’? Not likely.
It was another crazy week you guys. Like nuts. My business partner and I announced our new microphone company Right Hook Mics. There was so much work leading up to this moment and it felt amazing to finally share it with the world. It was also his birthday yesterday (Happy Birthday James!) so we celebrated that and the launch of our company on Saturday night, which I followed with eating an unholy amount of pizza.
I finally ordered my business cards this week! I got them from Moo.com because I found it the easiest site to use to upload my own design. I can’t wait to finally have them in my hands. I’ll be honest – I ordered these at like 10pm on Sunday so that I could finally cross this off of my Weekly Wishes list. I think this is proof that Weekly Wishes really does help to get shit done!
How was your week?
LAST WEEK’S GOALS
#1 Get together a package to send home – I’ll be putting the finishing touches on this today and heading to the post office.
#2 Create art for my office – I finally took some time out last night to paint. I’m no artist, but it was fun! I think I’ll order myself a couple of prints soon as well to bring it together. Take a peek.
#3 Get to work on my October content plan – I have decided to participate in the 31 Days writing challenge this month. Part of me is super excited to get out a whole bunch of content I want to write about, and part of me is freaking out over how much work this will be. I have my calendar laid out and I need to get to work on writing this stuff!
THIS WEEK’S GOALS
#1 Take more walks – The forecast looks fantastic this week and I want to take advantage and get outside. And walking breaks are a great thing for boosting creativity (and maintaining sanity).
#2 Read before bed – I’ve gotten into this terrible habit of working in bed until like midnight. It makes for a lousy sleep and I”m not getting out of bed as early as I’d like to. So I’ll be trying to trade in my laptop for a book at the end of the day. On that note, any book recommendations? I’m all about productivity and personal development, or humour.
# Write, write, write – In order to not go crazy every morning/night for the 31 days challenge this month, I really want to get at least a few days ahead with writing this.
What are your goals this week?
